Are you an experienced SENDCo looking for your next challenge to start in September 2021?

We are seeking to recruit a motivated, resilient and highly effective individual with a strong track record of supporting students with Education & Health Care Plans (EHCP) and other vulnerable students in our inclusive setting. You will play a critical and influential role within the school, supporting the identification of needs, liaising with parents and carers, and working with external agencies and other stakeholders.

The Role

• A dedicated staff committed to achieving high standards; a large faculty team including a team of teaching assistants and an Inclusion Manager with a suite of Inclusion rooms.

• Excellent CPD both within school and across the Multi Academy Trust

Requirements for this role

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Relevant SENDCo experience

• National SENDCo award (see person specification for details)

• Experience working within an appropriate setting and knowledge of child development, attachment disorder, and SEND conditions in particular ASC, ADHD and ODD

• Experience of leading and managing staff
