An exciting opportunity to join our friendly team
We are seeking to recruit a SENDCO who shares our passion for sustained success. Our SEND students achieve exceptionally strong outcomes and we wish to maintain and further improve rates of progress with a particular emphasis on improving literacy and numeracy levels across the school. As SENDCO you will lead a team of committed and skilful staff to ensure no child is left behind.
You will need to be forward focussed and an excellent communicator, able to form strong, effective relationships with colleagues, students and parents. You will have the drive, passion and enthusiasm to make significant improvements and to champion the special educational needs of our children.
We would like to offer you the opportunity to attend an informal virtual meeting with James Butterworth, Head of School, prior to application or interview on Wednesday 24th February at 4pm. Please email Cherie Bayfield, PA to Headteachers, if you would like to attend this: cbayfield@st-ives.cornwall.sch.uk.
If you have the energy, skills and motivation to make a difference in our thriving school community, we would welcome your application. Further details, job description and application form are available from our school website www.st-ives.cornwall.sch.uk.
