At Trinity Academy, we place emphasis on academic excellence, where all students and staff have the opportunity to work hard to achieve their personal best. Our mission is to encourage personal, moral and spiritual development within a Christian framework. We are a vibrant community, housed in a modern facility with good motorway links which puts us in easy reach of Leeds, Sheffield and Hull.
We require for September 2018 a passionate and highly motivated Special Educational and Disabilities Needs Co-ordinator. You will have responsibility for driving and promoting the achievements of students with the SEND department.
To be successful, you will have a proven track record of creating a culture of high expectations with the ability to scrutinise data to assess individual needs. You will not shy away from setting and working towards ambitious progress targets for SEND students in order to see them achieve their personal best. In return, you will work with staff who are fully committed to the ethos of the Academy and are passionate about inspiring our students.
The welfare of our staff is important to us. We are firmly committed to CPD and offer a comprehensive programme with superb promotion prospects and career development. We subscribe to the Workplace Options scheme, the childcare voucher scheme (Sodexo) and all staff are given a daily meal allowance.
Visits from prospective candidates are warmly welcomed.
If you believe you have the vision and commitment to work in an Academy which seeks to raise achievement as well as set and maintain high standards and expectations, visit http://www.trinity-academy.org.uk/opportunities/trinity-vacancies/sendco/
