An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SENDCO to join our successful school after Easter or in September 2023.
Our new colleague will have an excellent knowledge and understanding of current issues in SEND education, and experience of working within a SEND Department. They will hold a formal SENDCO accreditation.
The SENDCO has overall responsibility in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities. The post holder will be the school’s designated SENDCO. The postholder will work alongside Subject Leaders and Teachers to promote learning, monitor the progress of students with identified special needs and coordinate appropriate intervention and support. The school has a Hearing Impairment Resourced Provision. The management of the Learning Support department will also be a key responsibility.
