We are looking for an exceptional teacher and SENDCO to be a part of taking Swallow Hill into its next exciting phase as it joins the Dixons Academies Trust. The post will commence from the 1 September 2018 and will be a chance for candidates with ambition, drive and determination to be a part of transforming the lives of the community as Swallow Hill is welcomed in to the Dixons family.
The right candidate will have a passion for learning and supporting others to make progress, regardless of their needs, ability or background. You will ideally already be in post as a SENDCO and have the extensive knowledge and training associated with this role. Responsibilities will include leading the Individual Learning Needs team; strategically reviewing and planning support for individual students to meet their needs; developing and training staff and working with all agencies and stakeholders to support our students and parents. You will be unwavering in ensuring that our community is enriched by dedicating yourself to improving the life chances and aspirations of young people.. The successful candidate will be:
- able to teach their subject to GCSE standard and have an excellent record of securing exceptional progress for students in this subject
