About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, inspiring and well-qualified teaching professional with a passion for working with vulnerable students, to take on the SENDCo role. The successful applicant will be required to lead on the excellent SEND provision across the school, manage a team of Learning Support Assistants and have full responsibility for identifying and tracking the progress of students with SEND. The post holder will be required to hold (or gain within 12 months of appointment) the ‘National Award for SEND Co-ordination’. This is a key position within our Catholic community and presents a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to move into a school-wide leadership role or someone looking for a new challenge and opportunity to make a difference.
