We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective SENDCO to take a strategic lead in evaluating, developing and delivering the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision within our school. The successful candidate will have a passion for learning and put no limits on what all students can achieve. Candidates should have the National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination or be in the process of achieving the qualification, a clear vision for SEND, an up to date knowledge of the national policy relating to SEND, and be able to make a contribution to both whole school and classroom development with regard to the provision for students with SEND.

You should be an experienced teacher, with a primary or secondary background, and expertise in SEND who will be able to make a significant contribution to staff development and model best practice in the classroom, demonstrating the ability to motivate, lead and inspire staff and children alike. You will be confident about leading and delivering high-quality and effective interventions that support student progress in its fullest sense.
