We are looking to appoint a SENDCO to join our Intervention and Safeguarding team. The successful candidate will develop an inspiring vision, using the new SEND Framework and Code of Practice, to support children with SEND to make excellent progress. You will work alongside the Assistant Principal for Inclusion and Safeguarding and an experienced inclusion team to achieve this vision.
Experience of working with students with additional educational needs with a focus on improving progress and closing the gaps is essential. You will be a suitably qualified SENCO or someone with a willingness to achieve National SENCO Award and will be expected to deliver approximately 10 hours of teaching per week. Knowledge and experience of safeguarding is also essential.
