In order to accelerate outcomes and continue to embrace our diverse learning community we are currently seeking to appoint a dedicated SENDCO who is passionate about ensuring pupils with SEND achieve their full potential. You will already be an outstanding teacher within your specialism and your knowledge of SEND (and in particular the code of practice) will help play a key part in ensuring all students make excellent progress.

Lawnswood School is a mixed, non-denominational community secondary school and sixth form for pupils aed 11-18. It is located in West Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

The school, founded in its current form in 1972, has capacity for up to about 1,500 pupils. Its predecessor schools were the Leeds Modern School, a boys' grammar school, and Lawnswood High School for Girls.
