Please note, this role is a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover). Planned start will be April.

As a Senior Administrator at Hartwell School, you’ll help make your school run like clockwork. You’ll be in charge of managing the office, ranging from meeting and diary management and providing support to the Head Teacher, HR administration and checking payroll with attendance records. You’ll be involved in running the reception and responsibility for accurate files. With your efficient, professional approach and ability to set up processes and systems, you’ll keep the cogs of the school turning.

To join us, you’ll need some previous administrative experience and excellent IT skills. You should be used to working on several administration tasks and able to switch between them. Just as important is an approachable, helpful nature. You should be ready to support our team and will build a natural and respectful rapport with our young people.

For children with complex, challenging needs, the level of care and education must go above and beyond. That’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group. Through our aspirational homes, schools and ethos, we’ve achieved the highest possible outcomes. In short, we’re enhancing life opportunities.

Hartwell School is our co-educational provision in Stockton and is one of our largest schools with a capacity of up to 82 young people between the ages of 5-18. Like all of our schools, Hartwell School offers state-of-the-art learning resources and well equipped environments. The school is housed in a completely bespoke refurbished building, with great facilities including a full size sports hall, MUGA, and specialist classrooms for science, food technology and DT etc. Students are supported in small class sizes, by well qualified and experienced staff to help them realise their full potential.

Reward

We know you’re going to do great things. We offer a salary and benefits package that’s among the best in our sector.
