Cuddington Croft are looking for a Senior Before and After School Playworker.

Cuddington Croft Primary School is offering an exciting opportunity for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to help create and oversee a positive experience for the children at our wraparound provision. We are looking for someone to take a lead role within our team on a permanent basis to work at our breakfast club in the morning and our after school club in the afternoons. 

The role requires someone who is passionate about children's learning through play and is able to lead a variety of activities including arts and crafts as well as indoor and outdoor games. The successful candidate will hold responsibility for being proactive and using their own initiative to plan differentiated activities, ensuring full inclusion for all abilities and ages. They will also lead a team of dedicated staff to provide a safe and stimulating environment, inspiring the children through extra-curricular activities and learning outside the classroom.

As the senior member of the team, this person must be able to establish and model positive working relationships with both pupils and colleagues as well as being the initial point of contact for parents of club users.

The Details

Hours: 28.75 hours a week, 38 weeks of the year as follows:

Monday - Friday, AM: 7:15am - 9:00am

Monday - Friday, PM: 2:45pm - 6:45pm                                                                                          

Pay Grade: Specialist £22,500 - £31,000 FTE

Pro rata salary: £15,062 - £20,752 based on 28.75 hours a week, 38 weeks of the year

Start Date: 1st September 2021

About Cuddington Croft Primary School

Cuddington Croft is an all-through 2 Form Surrey Primary School for children aged 3-11 years, including the Nursery Unit. The school is situated in West Drive, Cheam, within a pleasant, residential area in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell. We are significantly oversubscribed due to the high standards our children achieve, the first-rate staff team, and very good OFSTED reports. The school is noted for its excellent SATs results, and regularly features in the top 10 Surrey Primary Schools, and occasionally in the top 200 schools within the country. The majority of children significantly exceed the nationally expected grades in both key stage 1 & 2.
