Senior College Nurse

We wish to appoint a Senior College Nurse to lead and work as part of a team of six nurses and two part-time healthcare assistants. The team assist in promoting health and wellbeing and providing the highest possible standard of medical and pastoral care for the 600 students who attend this premier co-educational international boarding school.

We are seeking a registered nurse with a nursing degree and experience in primary care and treatment of minor injuries and minor illnesses.  Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to, communicate with and care for young people of all nationalities and religions are essential, as are strong leadership skills and the ability to deliver a complete medical service to very high standards.  Previous experience at management/supervisory level is essential plus experience of boarding school nursing or children’s nursing is desirable.  A full clean driving licence is also essential.

Salary within NHS Band 6 /7, dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.
