Keynote are currently recruiting for a Course and Conference Producer to join our dynamic and successful team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about professional development that makes a real difference to the career development and progression of teachers and leaders at all levels. 



About The Job

This is a great opportunity for an experienced leader who’s looking to move out of working directly in schools, but stay in secondary education, to join us at Keynote in a positive, forward-thinking and inspiring environment. This is an exciting time to join the company as we are currently expanding. The job is based in our Wilmslow office.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Create and produce courses for teachers in a range of subjects at KS3, KS4 & KS5, in conjunction with subject experts
  • Develop, plan and produce innovative, relevant and attractive conference and courses for senior leaders on key areas such as leadership, teaching & learning, pastoral care
  • Be creative, be a bold thinker and innovator, take up opportunities as appropriate and use initiative to research, plan and produce conferences and courses, liaising and working with experts in specific fields
  • Have commercial understanding relevant to the education sector with an ability to critically monitor, assess and make changes to conferences/courses as appropriate
  • Be passionate about emerging and current issues, trends and directions in the sector, with a view to actively translating these into new, forward-looking conferences and courses.
  • Liaise with our subject experts to produce conferences and courses for A Level and GCSE exam group students
  • Ideally, we are looking for someone who is in a leadership post across a MAT, Trust or Alliance, therefore experience of leadership across several schools, or in a school/academy, or both. Ideally the person will have both curriculum teaching experience, including to A Level, as well as having broadened into the wide whole school area of responsibility.

Experience and Competencies:

  • Have experience of wider responsibilities outside of subject areas e.g. whole school leadership, cross curricular leadership or leadership responsibility across a regional area(s).
  • Ability to lead and manage people effectively, including liaising with and persuading a range of external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as part of the wider Keynote team, liaising with the sales, marketing and events departments
  • Have research experience within the secondary education sector.
  • Ability to spot opportunities, take initiative and work with creative flair when creating products
  • Ability to write and edit compelling material which attracts the market sector
  • Ability to produce commercially successful products in line with company standards
  • Excellent people analysis skills.
  • A strong and keen interest in the secondary education sector, knowledgeable about latest trends, current educational issues and initiatives.
  • Have a good understanding of education business and be commercially savvy, possessing the ability to critically analyse, assess and enhance material to increase course bookings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills, can work to a pace, meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • Display resilience, tenacity, confidence, flexibility and ambition

We Offer:

  • Starting Salary from £40,000
  • 35 hours, Monday – Friday
  • 25 days holiday +3 additional days over Christmas, + bank holidays
