In what we believe to be an exciting role we are looking to appoint a committed and inspiring support professional to join us as our new Senior Cover Supervisor. This is a fixed term post initially for one year
Our team of cover supervisors here at Aylward Academy play a vital role by ensuring that students continue to learn and make good progress on the few occasions when their teacher is away from their class.
As Lead Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for the direct line management of the cover team as well as maintaining/growing the quality and effectiveness of cover amongst staff and students on a day to day basis through exemplary practice.
You will have:
- Proven experience of working in education and with young people
- Have GCSE Maths and English to a minimum of grade C (or equivalent)
- The natural ability to build strong relationships with staff and pupils and be committed to our academy and our vision.
