We are keen to appoint an energetic, confident and enthusiastic individual to join the team and lead the provision of cover in lessons across the School.
You will organise the assignment of cover for absent staff and manage all aspects of the cover process including the supervision of classes when teachers are absent, assisting students to undertake set activities in the class.
The post is good preparation for teaching and is therefore particularly suitable for individuals considering a career in the profession. The experience gained would be invaluable in supporting a future application for a PGCE course or obtaining a School Direct training placement.
You should have a good level of education (particularly in Maths and English), along with a sound working knowledge of basic IT.
You should also possess a calm, confident and assertive manner and have a real interest in supporting students to achieve their potential.
