Senior Curriculum Leader of Maths

Old Buckenham High School is a comprehensive school set in rural Norfolk but with close transport links to Attleborough and Norwich. We are proud of our strong reputation for providing all our students with an inspiring and challenging learning experience based around excellent teaching, traditional student standards and values, as well as high quality pastoral care, guidance and support. In 2017 we achieved 68% Grade 4 and above (English and Maths), demonstrating the strong attainment of our students against national standards. Our students are courteous, hardworking and engaged in their learning and are superbly supported by our highly dedicated team of staff.

We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and energetic Senior Curriculum Leader of Maths with a commitment to ‘achieving excellence’ for all our students. First and foremost you will be an excellent Maths teacher and have an unwavering passion for your subject. You will have a clear focus and understanding of what makes outstanding teaching and learning, provide excellent outcomes for students and have the skills, passion and vision to lead the Maths Department. You will have the ability to teach Maths at both KS3 and KS4, experience delivering GCSE Maths is essential.

As a Senior Curriculum Leader, you will be part of the extended Leadership Team and be fully involved in the strategic leadership of the School with opportunities to develop Whole School initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to move quickly to Senior Leadership positions.
