Senior English, Humanities and RE Teacher with Possible Pastoral Leadership Role. We are seeking a highly skilled teacher of Senior English, RE and Junior Humanities. This applicant will need to bring excellent pedagogical skills, innovation, a strong and contemporary vision for learning and teaching and enthusiasm for working collaboratively in the education of young women. 

The successful candidate will have proven English, Humanities, RE teaching abilities and a creative and innovative approach to curriculum design and delivery. This is a maternity leave replacement position for 12 months, April 2019 to April 2020. The position may be combined with a Tier 3 Pastoral Leadership role.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated capacity to lead staff and students as a Head of House. The role holder will be integral to the College Pastoral team and will work closely with House staff, other Heads of House and the Deputy Principal - Students.

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019.

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law. 

Position:  23 April 2019 to 17 April 2020.
