Role purpose
Our client, an extremely reputable and supportive multi academy trust who comprise of 13 primary and secondary schools in Norfolk are recruiting to an exciting new role providing high level finance support to the Secondary and Central hubs.
As Senior Finance Manager you will be a qualified management accountant, able to work effectively with managers across locations and meet changing priorities and deadlines.
You will have line management responsibility for the relevant finance staff, as well as supporting Principals and Senior Leaders in the preparation and presentation of budgets, ensuring that funds are spent appropriately and in line with the needs of our students.
You will work closely with the Central Trust Finance Team, Academy Operations Managers, Academy Principals and our Central Trust HR team.
Skills & Experience
- CCAB Qualified Accountant
- Relevant degree or management qualification
- Level 2 (GCSE A*-C) or equivalent in English and Maths
- Proven recent experience in a preparing financial information
- Familiar with charity law and accounting
- Proven experience preparing routine management accounts for a variety of audiences
- Proven recent experience managing a finance team
- Operating and developing an accounting system
