Job overview

Varied Finance role with significant scope for career development.

(Full Time preferred - Term Time options negotiable, 36 hours per week)

If you enjoy financial analysis, providing first class support and service within a finance function, and are dedicated to helping us create and develop a service that listens, adapts and provides solutions in an empathetic and transparent way, then you would be welcomed as part of our dedicated, central Finance support team. The team works across schools in Wallington and South Croydon. Education provides an exciting, innovative, changing workplace and this new role is emerging with the natural expansion of this successful 4-school multi-academy (MAT) trust in South London.

In addition to the expected financial skills, we seek someone with a confident and friendly professional manner as you will be the first point of contact for many staff in the schools we support. It is a varied role where you will be required to visit different schools during your week. Folio has a good reputation for career development and internal succession planning, so we offer training in any necessary systems and associated technologies to build upon your existing experience, as well as continuing professional development.

The MAT comprises an established, outstanding boys’ grammar with mixed sixth form, a primary school, a junior school and a brand new secondary phase, comprehensive free school, Coombe Wood School: the last opened in 2018 and for which the building of a state-of-the-art £35M building project is underway and scheduled for completion in 2020.

This role will be based at Coombe Wood School from 2020/21 onward, but initial location will be determined upon appointment.
