Full time, Permanent - 37 hours per week

Based at the Central Offices at Portland Spencer (NG84BW)

We are looking to appoint a Head of Governance who will lead and manage the strategic development of Trust Governance, Governor Services and Admissions. The post holder will also act as the company secretary, working with Local Governing Bodies and clerk to the Trust Board of Directors.

The role offers the opportunity to work within a Trust-wide Team, to deliver quality governance across the Trust.

You will be instrumental in leading the LGBs, Governance Team and ensuring that governance meets the standards required by the Trust including all statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.

SAT is an educational charity, Multi-Academy Trust and Sponsor of Academies. We have approaching 16000 children and young people in our academies and employ more than 2200 teachers, leaders and educational support professionals across the East Midlands. We currently have 16 primary academies, 8 secondary academies and one primary aged special school in our family of schools.
