The Senior IT Engineer is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified candidate to be a part of the IT department; to manage, monitor and maintain the College’s IT systems as necessary in a predominantly second / third line technical support role.

Proactively engaging with customers, you will utilise your communication skills to ensure that a high level of service is delivered, understand and present clear solutions to problems and that the technicians are working to their full potential.

You will have experience and a good understanding of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and Microsoft Active Directory and associated technologies. You will also have experience and an understanding of IT security and hands on technical knowledge of servers, network, PCs, and operating systems, including Windows 7/ 8, Windows Server 2003/2008 R2/ 2012, 2016, Cisco and HP.

The role will be based primarily at our Langley College site, with 1 day at Windsor and 1 day at Strode’s subject to College needs.
