Senior IT Technician

SO1 (SCP 23-25) £27,741 - £29,577

Contract: 37 Hours Per Week, All Year Round

Subject to a 6-Month Probationary Period

We seek to appoint a highly skilled, experienced and customer focussed IT professional for the role of Senior IT Technician. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing remote and onsite support to both secondary and primary academies. They will take a very committed stance on ensuring that IT Services are safe, secure, and robust, whilst maintaining flexible, friendly and strong working relationships with all stakeholders. The position within our Leeds Centre Hub is based out of The Ruth Gorse Academy, regular onsite visits to Hillcrest Academy and Richmond Hill Academy will form a major part of your weekly routine to compliment the remote support we provide. The successful candidate will be part of a well-established IT Hub and wider TGAT IT team providing outstanding IT Support for all Staff and Students. 

The TGAT IT Services team support all academies within The GORSE Academies trust allowing all members of the team to share knowledge and best practice effectively. With the support of the newly formed Infrastructure and Development team all academies will have continued personal development to ensure you are fully trained on all of our IT systems.

The Leeds Centre Hub consists of 4 academies, The Ruth Gorse Academy, Hillcrest Academy, Richmond Hill Academy and Boston Spa Academy. The successful candidate will work with the IT Hub Manager, Academy staff and students to support and develop IT throughout the academies.
