Your Opportunity

We are looking to recruit a Senior IT Technician to work across schools in our West & Oxfordshire region, specifically in the Banbury and Dicot area. The successful candidate will benefit from the support of our experienced IT teams located throughout Surrey and Oxfordshire and will build links with the Trust IT team and the Regional IT Partners.

The role will provide first and second line support in the field, working with a range of systems and users with varying skills and will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT.

The candidate will primarily be based in either Banbury or Didcot and will be expected to travel between the two areas as needed. As this is a field role comprising of regular scheduled, ad hoc and emergency visits as required, the successful candidate may also be required to travel to other schools within our West & Oxfordshire region, therefore a driving licence is essential.

What we are looking for

This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams. Ideally, we would like the candidate to have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and has experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration and deployment.

Salary - GLF Specialist - £25,000 to £30,000 per annum

Hours - 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year

Start Date - ASAP
