As a Senior Learning Support Assistant you’ll assist the teacher in providing a safe and secure learning environment for the students. You’ll help pupils to become more independent and engaged in their learning.
About you
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Learning Support Assistant with a proven track record with bahaviour management who;
· Maths /English at Level 2 or GCSE A*- C (4-9)
· Sound knowledge of, and practical skills in relevant subjects forming the content of the curriculum appropriate to the age of the pupils.
· Ability to cover a wide range of lessons.
· Confidence to manage a class of mixed ability pupils.

Ashcroft is an independent day school and college is based in Stockport, Cheshire and in East Manchester. It’s one of the specialist education services provided by the charity the Together Trust. We cater for children and young people aged 8 to 19 years who have struggled to cope in other settings because of their individual barriers to learning. At Ashcroft we pride ourselves in working with each student offering a bespoke education package that really does meet their needs. We cater for pupils with complex emotional needs including ADHD and brain injuries.
