We have an exciting opportunity for candidates to apply for a post as a senior lecturer in the school of Teacher Development at Bishop Grosseteste University with an anticipated start date of September 2017. The role involves working across our primary programmes; primary undergraduate and postgraduate as well as contributing to the further development of our well regarded ITE Partnership provision.

Teacher Development at Bishop Grosseteste has been judged by Ofsted as ‘Good’ in our recent inspection (published February 2016), and the team are well positioned to build upon this foundation and improve provision even further. We are keen to recruit innovative, dynamic, positive and committed individuals to join us in this important work for the benefit of our Partnership and the pupils in the schools and settings, and for education in its widest sense.

It would be beneficial to have some expertise in any of the following areas:

SEND, PSHE (including mental and emotional health and wellbeing), Expressive Arts/Art, Technology (pedagogy across the curriculum), DT, EAL, Safeguarding.

Within our Partnership, you will work closely with school and setting partners including: School Direct, cluster-based and university-based provision and you will build relationships with partners that lead to shared engagement in ITE, CPD and research.
