Based at the Nova Education Trust offices at the University of Nottingham Innovation Park, the successful candidates will support the Chief Financial Officer with the production of financial information for Nova Education Trust and its schools.

Key to this role is the ability to develop an effective relationship with Heads of School and School Business Managers across our trust.  The post holders will need to have experience of producing management accounts, budget setting, budgetary control and delivering month end processes and reporting.

The Senior Management Accountant will work within a small team of Finance professionals who continually strive to improve systems and processes to ensure Nova is an employer of choice.

To be successful, you will have:

  • A level Qualifications or equivalent
  • Professional finance or finance related qualification at graduate level (i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
  • Experience of using computerised finance packages

The Nova offices are in the Sir Colin Campbell building on the University of Nottingham Jubilee campus. This is a modern, purpose built campus with many state of the art, sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings. It has facilities available to our staff such as a Starbucks coffee shop, two cafes, a convenience store, a discounted gym and plenty of outdoor space including a series of lakes. As part of the Nova Education Trust, you will enjoy the benefits of being part of our group of schools and have access to outstanding CPD, career development opportunities and a Westfield Health healthcare package. We also offer free parking and there are weekly networking events held on campus providing free drinks and cakes.
