St Joseph's College is a vibrant independent day and boarding school in Ipswich providing a broad and seamless education for over 600 boys and girls aged 2 - 19. Our innovative teaching and subsequent success starts in the Prep School and runs all the way through the Senior School and Sixth Form.

We seek to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic Senior Nursery Assistant (full time 37.5hrs/week, Year Round. 07.45am – 3.45pm) to join our friendly Nursery team at St. Josephs College Prep School from January 2023. In this role you will be working with Nursery staff to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children. You will work with our Nursery pupils to aid them in their learning, showing a good understanding of young children’s needs and the EYFS Curriculum. You will have the experience of and be able to demonstrate the potential to deliver excellence, working within an already effective team. Suitable candidates will possess a relevant childcare qualification (minimum level 3) and valid Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake this training), supported by relevant work experience.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake child protection screening appropriate to the post, including an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
