Senior Nursery Co-ordinator Level 5, £19,947 - £24,310 (up to £26,180 for exceptional performance) 37 hours x 52 weeks Open to internal and Sparks applicants only The Sheffield College – Hillsborough Nursery Start date: 4th September 2017 We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to join the nursery team at Hillsborough College Nursery. The successful applicant will ideally be qualified to level 4 in Early Years or be prepared to undertake advanced qualification on appointment. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, flexible and able to work under pressure. They will need the necessary skills to lead a team of childcare professionals and inspire the highest levels of quality. They will be responsible for the organisation of staff throughout the day and will be expected to work in the rooms to either cover staff absence or to develop good practice. They will be expected to deputise all day to day responsibilities at Hillsborough Nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager. Candidates invited for interview will be required to deliver a 10 minute presentation on: The role of the Hillsborough Nursery Coordinator is to lead and support staff in developing the setting and ensuring that we have a high quality, cost effective nursery that reflects our aims, objectives and mission statement. In this quest for excellence, in your presentation demonstrate how will you ensure we have a strong foundation on which to build continuous improvement?
