Senior Office Manager

Ashbourne is an outstanding Independent Sixth Form College in the heart of Kensington, London. We are seeking a new Senior Office Manager to lead and develop our administration team and contribute to the smooth operations of the College.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable meeting and dealing with a wide variety of people, both in person and on the telephone, including students, parents, teachers and external agents.

This demanding role requires versatility, strong organisational skills, close attention to detail, teamwork and commitment. Applicants are expected to be proactive, prepared to go the extra mile and should have the ability to re-prioritise to meet multiple deadlines. 

A high degree of experience, excellent English and computer literacy are required in addition to previous experience working in a school and managing a team.

The Senior Office Manager will be responsible for the management of the front desk team and is required to work closely with other departments such as Admissions, Examination and Facilities. 

The working hours for this post are: 8am to 6pm. Details of job will be discussed further at interview. 

Salary will be discussed at interview with a range of £25,000 - £40,000 dependent on previous experience.

The college was founded as Ashbourne Independent College in 1981 and was co-educational from the start. It is a member of the Council for Independent Further Education (CIFE).
