SENIOR PRACTITIONER - TEACHING AND LEARNING

Salary:  £35,890 per annum, plus remission
Hours: 37 per week, 52 weeks per year

Following a review of our curriculum structure, the new role of Lead Practitioner - Teaching and Learning has been created. This post provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate and accomplished lecturer to work closely with Curriculum teams across the College in order to support the ongoing development and improvement of teaching, learning and assessment. The role will report into the Vice Principal of Teaching and Learning.

You will have experience of what outstanding teaching, learning and assessment looks like, with an excellent track record of student achievement as well as an appreciation of how to help individuals and teams realise their full potential. Fascinated by developments in teaching and learning and at the forefront of new pedagogy you will be keen to share your passion and knowledge more widely. You will be highly organised and an excellent communicator with experience of implementing change, quality improvement and an appreciation of the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework.

The role will include up to 12 hours (0.5 FTE) remission per week from your teaching commitment.

As the Senior Practitioner you will have experience in delivering Teacher Training courses and you will be required to deliver and course manage on Level 3 to Level 6 Teacher Training Courses. As an ideal candidate you must hold a professional teaching qualification and must be qualified to degree level.
