Senior Science Technician

Full Time /Term Time Only Permanent

Salary Scale: AAT Grade 5, pts 10-15 Pro-rata Salary: £18,099 - £19,982

Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £21,322 - £23,541

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Science Technician to work in a busy Science Department.

Duties will include setting up classroom equipment, materials and demonstrations; ordering and stock control; maintenance and care of stock and equipment; demonstrating equipment and techniques; staff management; general administration within the Senior Science Technician’s role; be a named First Aider and ensure that all members of the Science department follow Health and Safety procedures.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate and ambitious with a drive and commitment to improve the life chances of our young people. You will have a dynamic, exceptional and creative approach to improving the teaching and learning in a way that benefits all children.
