The Science team at Ormiston Victory Academy is looking for Senior Science Technician to join our forward thinking and supportive department. The successful applicant will join a highly professional team working within a department of 9 teachers. The technician team supports teaching and learning of the science curriculum. The role involves preparing resources, constructing and modifying apparatus and carrying out appropriate safety checks. Duties also involve the preparation and delivery of demonstrations and student experiments, equipment maintenance, cleaning and stock taking.
Good initiative, communication, and organisational skills are essential, along with a willing and flexible attitude to work. The successful applicant will have strong science knowledge and recent science experience is preferred.
