Senior Science Technician

SENIOR SCIENCE TECHNICIAN  

35 hours per week, TTO including 2 INSET Days   H10, £14,281 - £15,916 per annum   

Required as soon as possible, a committed and flexible person to lead a busy team of Science Technicians and provide specialist assistance to teaching staff in the Science department.  You will play a key role in supporting the teaching of Science through the preparation and maintenance of teaching areas and equipment and the delivery of some practical learning activities. Knowledge and experience in the field of Physics or Biology would be beneficial.     You would be joining the school in a period of transformation, with a number of key ethos drivers – new uniform, House system and an exciting 3 year KS4 curriculum now in place as we shape a genuinely different future for the school, all designed to raise expectations and aspirations.   Mangotsfield is a local secondary school firmly rooted in, and proudly working within the community which it serves.
