Hours: 36 hours a week, 40 weeks a year (term time plus 5 days)

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Science Technician with immediate effect to work in the Science Department. The post holder will lead the Science Technician Team to meet the needs of students and teachers in the Science Curriculum Area.

You will be responsible for the preparation of resources for practical lessons to support the delivery of the Science Curriculum. You will also be responsible for stock control, maintenance, and ordering of supplies within the preparation areas. You will line manage the science technical team. Awareness of Health & Safety regulations relevant to a chemical laboratory environment is essential.

We are looking for a colleague who wants an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant organisation that makes a difference to our young people’s lives. The successful candidate will have considerable demonstrable and relevant experience (including training), BTEC/TEC Higher Certificate or Advanced City and Guilds or HNC/HND or BSc or equivalent.
