Senior Science Technician
Grade 5: £19,554 - £22,462
37 hours per week – term-time plus 2 weeks
(pro rata approx. £16,957 - £19,478)
Required for 1st September 2019
We are seeking to appoint a keen, committed and experienced Science Technician to coordinate technical support within our successful Science faculty.
The successful candidate will need to have previous technician experience, A-Level or equivalent qualification in a Science subject, 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent and a good knowledge of the 3 Sciences.

Fred Longworth High School is a mainstream, co-educational secondary academy for children aged 11-16. It is situated in Tyldesley, Manchester, and there are around 1,300 pupils on its roll. The school was rated “good” by Ofsted after its last inspection in 2017. It converted to academy status in 2011.
Fred Longworth High School prides itself on its above-average exam results and is the highest performing school in the area.
