Grade G - £20,541 - £23,111 pa. Full time, all year round.

8.00am – 4.00pm - Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 3.30pm Friday

Kingsbury is an oversubscribed and popular school with specialist status, located close to the M42 and

M6, in easy reach of Birmingham, Staffordshire, South Derbyshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire.

Kingsbury’s premises have been heavily invested in recently with new roofs, boiler and further work planned through the new five year premises development plan. In September a replacement doors and windows programme is due to start.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Site Officer to provide an effective and responsive, customer focussed in-house maintenance and caretaking service. You will have the best of both worlds by having fantastic scope to use your initiative, together with the supportive arm of a multi-academy Trust, whereby a helpful and knowledgeable team is at hand to assist you and make you feel valued.

You will have experience of repairs and maintenance, and relevant trades (including carpentry, plumbing, heating, and painting) as well as building works in a similar environment. Ideally you will have had experience in planning preventative maintenance and cleaning in order to manage a wide range of responsibilities including whole site security, site and grounds repairs and maintenance, and to take an agreed lead in health and safety checks. Most importantly, you will have the will to go that extra mile to make a difference to the students at our school, the flexibility to be part of a great team and the communication and problem solving skills to resolve situations as they arise.

We pride ourselves in offering:

· The opportunity to work as part of an experienced, supportive, friendly and hardworking staff team who are united in their drive to achieve the very best outcomes for every student

· A comprehensive induction programme.

· A range of benefits which include membership of the local government pension scheme, cycle to work and childcare voucher schemes, free parking and an employee discount scheme.

· Potential developmental opportunities to take on more responsibilities within the Trust.

This opportunity is for a non-residential Senior Site Officer and the hours of work will include the need for additional flexibility to support evening and weekends as required. You will need a full driving licence and would need to be willing to use your own vehicle (with mileage allowance claimable).

Kingsbury has a great deal to be proud of with great facilities and a desire to continuously improve. If you would like to discuss this post further or arrange a school visit, please contact Helen Jones, PA to the Headteacher at jones.h3@welearn365.com who will put you in contact with the Trusts Estates and Premises Manager. Visits to the school prior to application are strongly encouraged and will be warmly welcomed.

Application forms available direct from the school, from the school website www.kingsburyschool.co.uk or from HumanResources@caludoncastle.co.uk. Application forms are to be returned to HumanResources@caludoncastle.co.uk.
