Applications are invited for the position of Senior Teaching Fellow in Gaelic Education.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and expanding team shaping sector-leading provision for Moray House School of Education in the subject area of Teacher Education, specifically the field of Gaelic Education.

You will demonstrate established contributions to teaching and learning, underpinned by experience of teaching in a Gaelic-medium Primary school setting. You will, preferably, have academic experience in the HE sector. You will have established credibility in the field of Gaelic-medium Education and, preferably, making an impact at authority or national level.

You will be responsible for developing, teaching and administering courses on Gaelic Education at undergraduate level, and will contribute to the wider work of the subject area and the School. You will represent Teacher Education, Gaelic-medium, in its broadest sense in appropriate networks nationally, including across the University of Edinburgh Teacher Education Partnerships with Local Authorities and Primary schools.

This post is full-time and open-ended, commencing August 2019. Salary grade UE08: (£40,792 - £48,677 per annum)
