Job overview

Opened in 1990 as one of 15 City Technology Colleges, this Academy has enjoyed 25 years of independence and excellence, serving the whole city of Bradford. We are the second most over-subscribed school in the country and this is because of our strong local and national reputation. We currently offer 825 places for 11-16 year old students plus 280 at Post 16

As a result of the Principal’s increasing involvement in the expanding Dixons Multi-Academy Trust, and the recent promotion of one of our senior team, we seek to appoint an exceptional Senior Vice Principal to add capacity at senior level. The right candidate will be fully committed to the vision and values of this Academy and will have a strong desire to work side by side with the Principal in leading this very good school to even further improvement. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate significant impact at a senior level and the desire to continue to take on more responsibility as the Multi-Academy Trust continues to grow. This is a tremendously exciting opportunity to work in a school with a strong culture of excellence and an absolute moral imperative to do all we can to enhance the life-chances of the children of Bradford and the surrounding district.
