Education & Inclusion.

Can you see the bigger picture?

For too many children, in too many places, opportunity is still something that happens to other people. We’re determined that Wakefield will be different. This is an exceptional chance to play a leadership role in the evolution and transformation of Education & Inclusion in Wakefield. Recent years have seen sustained improvement in our education provision across the board, and we’re proud to have developed a clear vision of how SEND, inclusion and attainment combine to deliver a unified, effective whole.

But we recognise that there remains more to do before we’ll have achieved our goals. And that’s where you come in. We want to hear from senior education professionals with a successful track record of energising continuous improvement and overcoming obstacles to attainment. Pressing on from our recent achievements, you’ll have an immediate positive impact: with schools and school leaders, engaging with local MATs and colleagues across children’s services, building relationships with key influencers across the district, and working collaboratively to establish and maintain progress. Whether your background is in SEND, system leadership or school improvement, you must bring a thorough grasp of the wider educational agenda and a detailed understanding of national policy and context.

Visit www.ourwakefield.co.uk to find out more or contact Stephen Cooley (07747 698829) or Mark Tobin (07717 725844) at Proventure Consulting for a confidential discussion.

Closing date: 1 October.
