Langley College are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as a Technical Skills Coach & Trainer in Plumbing, Domestic Heating & Gas on a sessional basis.

This role is based at our Langley College campus; the centre for our main vocational and technical courses including Apprenticeships, Adult Education and HE. We deliver an innovative curriculum with superb specialist facilities including latest industry standard equipment, workshops and studios.

Sessional Technical Skills Coach & Trainer (Plumbing, Domestic Heating & Gas)

As a Technical Skills Coach and Trainer, you will deliver high quality training and support to enable our plumbing and gas apprentices to reach their full potential. Sharing your skills and knowledge, you will utilise your experience to motivate students to achieve, whilst developing and maintaining high levels of student retention and attendance.

You will work to support and enhance the apprentice and employer experience through effective skills coaching and will be responsible for supporting off the job elements through training sessions and one to one meeting with each of your apprentices.  You will support learners on all elements of their apprenticeship including skills, knowledge & behaviours, and functional skills monitoring. The role will require fully preparing apprentices as they work towards their end point assessment.
