Job overview

We are looking for a qualified Assessor/Tutor to work within the School of Workforce Training and Development, to assess/train on Door Supervision Level 2 and to contribute towards the achievement of the school’s targets.


The role will be based at Tooting, Merton or Wandsworth.The successful candidate will support learners to meet all aspects of competence-based assessment, in line with the requirements of External Quality Assurance.


It is desirable that you hold the Award/Certificate in Assessing – TAQA and possibly to also hold a Certificate in Internal Quality Assurance. Updated A1 or V1 is acceptable.A full teaching qualification would also be advantageous – those who do not currently hold one are expected to participate in staff development in order to achieve this.


Candidates must also be able to deliver Conflict Management, Physical Intervention and First Aid and keep this training up-to-date on an annual basis.
