ABOUT THE ROLE  

This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, professional to join a forward thinking college to develop and teach across a range of courses and across all disciplines.  The primary focus will be teaching on courses from within Beauty and Complementary Therapies.  The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of and professional experience within the vocational area. You will be able to work as a team member within the School and where appropriate with cross college teams. You will tutor teach theory and practical aspects of the vocational programmes and have the ability to co-ordinate and develop training programmes.  You will be a role model for college learners and will work to the classroom professional standards.  The role will require you to embed the college’s values; working with Professionalism, taking Responsibility for your actions, and giving Respect to clients and colleagues alike.

About Vision West Nottinghamshire College

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Nottinghamshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 1,200  full and part-time students attending every year. The college has six sites based in Ashfield and Mansfield. 

Vision West Nottinghamshire College was established as a Technical College in 1928. It was renamed Vision West Nottinghamshire College in 2011. Facilities across the campuses include an engineering innovation centre, art and design centre, sports hall, a hair and beauty training salon and a training restaurant for catering and hospitality students to train in.
