About the role
Morley College is seeking to recruit an experienced stage director with specialism in the field of opera and deep understanding of the genre to co-teach the Introduction to Opera Performance course with another tutor, whose specialism is in the field of vocal coaching.
The Introduction to Opera Performance course is is designed for singers who possess a secure classical technique wishing to gain stagecraft and operatic solo and ensemble singing skills. Students present a public show of opera ensembles and/or solos at the end of each term.
The course is planned to take place on Saturday afternoons 2-5pm during term-time at Morley College Waterloo Centre.
