The post is offered on a West Nottinghamshire College Sessional Delivery contract

You will be part of a team that is responsible for the planning, delivery and assessment of learners engaged in vocational music based programmes at a level 2, level 3 and Higher Education. You may, where appropriate, be required to work within other areas relating to your specialist skills and knowledge.  Other responsibilities may include acting as a Coordinator for a particular programme and to carry out the role of personal tutor for a specified group of learners.
The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more aspects of the music industry and will have an instrumental specialism.  In addition, you will be comfortable and confident in a range of musical styles, theory and harmony, contextualisation and technology.

With a good knowledge of and professional experience within the music industry you will be able to work as part of the Media, Music and Performance team, co-ordinating appropriate programmes as well as demonstrating the ability to work across the wider School of Learning and where appropriate, cross College teams.

You will have a relevant teaching / training qualification and experience of the post 16 sector. This post is offered on a sessional basis.

There will be the opportunity to contribute pro-actively to the Centre of Learning in promoting a positive learning experience for all our learners.
