Ashmole Academy Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The Trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school and has future expansion plans. The Trust has a motto that ‘excellence is a habit’ and seeks to achieve this in all that it does.
The Trustees of Ashmole Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a Site and Facilities Manager who has a proven track record in management to take forward the site and facilities areas of the Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the site, facilities and related health and safety matters for the Trust. Duties will include: managing a team of site staff who carry out maintenance, repairs and building projects. Comply with health and safety regulations, security and environmental standards and policies. Ensure appropriate work plans, budgets and staff levels are in place to achieve facilities management programmes. Through the site staff team, ensure the supervision of our of lettings customers during evenings and weekends and to manage external contractors.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering a high quality site and facilities management service, will be a ‘hands on’, flexible leader who, on occasions, may have to work outside normal working hours if the site or caretaker issues require it. A good working knowledge of facilities management and health and safety is essential with a focus on outstanding customer service. A NEBOSH, or IOSH qualification and experience of working in a school environment would be desirable but not essential.
