Grade/Scale: Grade 04 (Point 03), Actual Salary £15,049
Start date: asap
Contract: 30 hours per week (1:00pm to 7:00pm, Different hours may be required during school holidays), all year round

We are looking to appoint a flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our site team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness within our school.
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a security, safety, cleaning or maintenance environment. Use of general cleaning equipment, DIY Skills and able to carry out general repairs and maintenance without guidance is essential. An NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning, Building Interiors, School Support Staff or equivalent would be desirable. We look to appoint staff who are willing to contribute fully to the life of the school and who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Welcome to Stanton Vale School and thank you for your interest in our academy.
Stanton Vale School is a designated SLD (Severe Learning Disability) School.
We are a through school meaning we accept some students on a part time basis from the age of 2 in our Early Years class, up to our oldest students in our Post 16 Department who leave us aged 19 in Year 14.
We aim to meet the specific needs of all our students by offering a range of personalised learning approaches and pathways as outlined in the Curriculum section of this website.
Stanton Vale is a warm, lively, sensory rich learning environment and staff are highly trained in supporting the physical, medical, social emotional and educational needs of all our students.
We have strong links with therapeutic agencies such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Health, Sensory Occupational Health, Speech and Language Therapy, The Visual Impairment Service, The Hearing Impaired Service as well as Early Help and Social Care.
We currently have 10 class bases in school each with access to large outside spaces. The school also benefits from having a Hydrotherapy Swimming Pool, several Sensory Rooms, a Soft-Mobility Space, a designated Forest School Area as well as a full size Trampoline for Rebound Therapy Sessions.
Music is also delivered across the school by out peripatetic music teacher.
