Site Assistant

Stoke Damerel and Scott Medical & Healthcare College are now seeking to appoint a Site Assistant to assist with the general upkeep and operations of the school buildings and grounds across our campus.

You will undertake a wide range of duties which include:

·        Carrying out various minor repairs to the buildings and grounds

·        Preparing the schools for events

·        Responding to a varied workload from unblocking sinks to painting and decorating

·        Ensuring the grounds and buildings are clean and hazard free

·        Undertaking waste collection, litter removal and recycling

We can offer the successful candidate a permanent contract and are looking for someone who would be able to commit between 10 – 15 hours per week between 4pm – 8pm x 39 weeks per year

Actual salary for 10 hours per week = £4,830 - £4,917 per annum.

Actual salary for 15 hours per week = £7,245 - £7,376 per annum.

 The successful applicant will need to be practical, hardworking, reliable and trustworthy and have a positive can-do attitude.
