Please note: This role is based at Samuel Barlow Primary Academy for 3 days per week and 2 days at our other Primaries and Specials within the Trust therefore your own transport is essential.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated Site Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

The Site Assistant holds a key role in pro-actively maintaining the academy building and facilities, and ensuring we provide a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community.

The role will undertake a range of general caretaking duties, including security, porterage, maintenance and some cleaning of the academy site. Under supervision, the role will also assist in ensuring the facilities function correctly and that health and safety matters are monitored and recorded.

Maintenance and/or caretaking experience would be beneficial to your application, but we are also interested in hearing from you if you have transferable skills suitable for the role. Part-time employees will be considered if shorter working hours are preferred.
