Pro rata of £20,671 – £22,591 (i.e. £17,147.05 - £18,739.73) per annum
35 hours per week, 40 working weeks per year (paid for 45.6 weeks) We are seeking a qualified Librarian to take day-to-day responsibility for the Learning Resources Centre at the Brinsbury campus. In liaison with teaching staff you will ensure that the stock, services and environment of the Learning Resources Centre support student learning.
You will manage Library Assistant staff and you will have worked in a professional role in a library, preferably in the further education sector. Supervisory experience and knowledge of Heritage Cirqa would be advantageous.
A qualification in teaching and knowledge of the use of online learning resources in a further education context is desirable. You will enjoy working in a busy Learning Resources Centre, with fresh challenges on a daily basis. Effective communication skills and a flexible and resourceful approach are essential.

Chichester College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, general further education college situated in West Sussex. It is a 16-plus institution with two main sites in Chichester and Pulborough, plus further outreach centres in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. It has links to local employers, most of a small to medium size.
Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology, as it was formerly known, opened in 1964. Chichester College has been offering work-based training since 1996. It has approximately 10,897 part-time learners and 3,732 full-time students.
