We are looking for a Site Manager to join our well-established and well-respected Site Team.

 

Purpose of the Job

The Site Team are responsible for the day-to-day operational management, safety and security of the school site. The Site Team are responsible for ensuring that the school is well-maintained, safe and secure for all users.

 

·      Provide an effective and efficient site support service, thus enhancing the standards of teaching and learning within the school.

·      To lead in making the School a clean, healthy and safe environment for all.

·      To lead in maintaining and developing the School premises and grounds.

·      To delegate to and Line Manage the Head Caretaker and the Caretakers.

·      To work flexibility between school sites, if and when required.

·      You will be accountable for taking the lead on all compliance matters.

·      Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the Every Child Matters agenda and Area Child Protection Procedures.


The successful candidate will need to be flexible and self-motivated, have good communication skills and a good understanding of the health and safety requirements of a large site. Previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous but is not essential. The successful candidate will ensure our school site is maintained to the highest standard that will offer all our children the best learning environment both indoors and out.

 

Any overtime hours will be paid at the appropriate rate. This is an all year-round full-time post, 37 hours per week, 25 days holiday.

Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys is a successful and popular selective 11-18 dual-site school, with a site in Tunbridge Wells and a brand new site based in Sevenoaks.
